For Iga this is the seventh trophy of her career, the fourth consecutive, the third on clay-courts, the 23rd consecutive victory. Sabalenka instead, camwe back to play a final after almost a year.

The other tournaments
Andrey Rublev triumphs in Belgrade, giving himself the third tournament of the season in Belgrade. After Marseille and Dubai, the Russian raises a new trophy, winning against the host, Novak Djokovic. The final result is 6-2, (4) 6-7, 6-0 for the Russian: to condition the match was above all the physical condition of the world number one, bent double in the second set due to fatigue.
Third final of the year and third victory for Carlos Alcaraz. The 18-year-old wins the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona, winning against his compatriot, Pablo Carreno Busta, with the final result of 6-3, 6-2. The lowest in the standings between the two has never entered the game: too passive towards an Alcaraz who did not leave room, giving a power and depth to which the opponent was unable to respond.
